Uncreative

Y'all know I do this occasionally. I'm in another one of my funks. Ugh. You know, I don't wanna run, I don't wanna clean, I don't wanna cook....okay, maybe those last 2 are normal....I don't want to dress up, I don't want to put on makeup....I don't wanna do anything. Hmm. Anyhoo....I will work through that and be back at 'em one day. Right now, I'm gonna wallow and rub Ben Gay all over my aching muscles in my neck. Hence part of the reason that I don't want to do anything. I need a massage....

But, I did want to blog - but I'm feeling uncreative, so, when all else fails, find you a little list and answer the questions. That gets the ole brain to working a little...so, here goes. And nothing deep, because last blog was deep, and I feel shallow today. Ha.

1. What's something that you do differently from everyone else? Ha ha....I hold my fork all jacked up. No lie, I remember my parents teaching me how to use a fork at Shoney's in Bessemer, Alabama. Since we didn't get killed there, I might as well learn how to hold a fork properly. Ha. I was eating macaroni salad from the salad bar. It wasn't until I was an adult....like, we're talking in college, that I realized that I held my fork differently from everyone else...but, it was waaaay too ingrained to change it, so check it out next time you eat with me. Quite comical :)

2. Do you remember that time, five years ago, when you were extremely upset? Does it really matter now? I said I wouldn't get deep, so nope. I should remember that one.

3. What on your body is hurting or bothering you? ugh. I told y'all. my neck and upper back. Straight up killing me. I do, however, have a nice menthol aroma of Ben Gay.

4. What are you listening to? A Baby Einstein toy and a shaker/rattle thing. Glamorous, huh?

5. What are three things you did today? Fed a baby. Changed a doodoo diaper. Watched a DVRed episode of The Voice.

6. Put your iPod on shuffle. What are the first 5 songs? Lord, this could be humiliating. "Give Em Hell" (Bama Anthem) - 63 Boyz; "Like a Lion" - David Crowder Band; "Superman (It's Not Easy)" - Five for Fighting; "Too Close" - Alex Clare; "Your Love is My Drug" - Ke$ha.

7. Are you excited about anything? Not Really. Is that bad?

8. What is your favorite number? 23 or 12

9. Who was the last person that you talked to on the Phone? My Momma

10. What is the last thing you ate? Don't judge. A spoonful of peanut butter.

11. Have you ever been fired from a job? Yep. The summer between my freshman and sophomore year at Alabama, I was working two jobs. One at Victoria's Secret and one at this lame little store called Kidoodles that sold Hello Kitty crap. No lie, I'd tell the truth now because I have nothing to hide, they jacked up my schedule. I had requested off for a week for summer vacation and they apparently scheduled me to work one day that I was out of town and thought I was a no-show. When I called to get my schedule after I got back from vacation, they told me not to bother to come back. I explained, but they didn't care. I got my friends Kim and Rachel to go pick up my one and only paycheck because I was embarrassed.

12. What is the first thing that you do when you wake up in the morning? I look at my phone. I look at the time, check my email, look at WAFF, Fox News, EOnline, and Facebook.

13. What was your favorite food as a child? The same favorite food as an adult - spaghetti.

14. What did you do growing up that got you in trouble? I bit a hole in our car. Yeah, big, big, big trouble. Now that I'm an adult, I understand why, and applaud my parents for their control in disciplining me properly and not putting me in the grave. So, my parents had a Nissan Sentra. It was blue with blue/gray-ish interior. I would sit in the front seat and look out the window and put my eye teeth on the plastic-y part of the door that was directly under the window. One day, as my Mom was in Wendy's getting us some food, it just became too much for me, and my little eye tooth just bit down a little too hard. When I leaned back, I noticed what I had done and there comes Mom. Ouch. I got a whipping - with Dad's belt - and my ultimate punishment - I was grounded from watching the season finale of The Golden Girls. I could hear my parents watching it, just laughing it up :(

15. Are you a morning or night person? If I must pick, probably Morning. At night, I'm usually wiped out and will fall asleep if I sit down.

16. What do you usually think about before falling asleep? I pray. I always pray, and I always fall asleep before saying amen.

17. Have you ever been addicted to a video game? idk about addicted, but I do remember all day and late late nights and blisters on my fingers from playing Super Mario Brothers (1, 2, and 3), Dr. Mario, and Tetris. Yes, I realize I just totally showed my age. I'm okay with that.

18. What are you thinking about? Honestly? Why does my daughter do a big poop blowout every time that she gets in the jumperoo?

19. Are you organized? In certain ways, yes, insanely OCD - especially at work. It borders on crazy. Other times, I wonder how I function. My house is so not organized that it makes me twitch.

20. What are you going to do when you finish this questionnaire? Change another poop diaper, answer a text message, and take the big girl to dance.

I'll try to get more creative....really. Ugh. I hate when I feel this way!!!!
