Anniversary...Oscars... and other stuff

So, my husband and I just turned 10 :) What an awesome, awesome blessing to celebrate. Plus, I still love him...and like him...so that's even better! Our original plans....ten years ago on a beach in Tahiti...was to return to Tahiti and Moorea and to add Bora Bora. You know, surely by then we would have a boatload of money and vacation time and we can pick up a flight like it wasn't anything and that we could pull out all the stops again and do it up even bigger this time. Ha. We were young and naive :) The second plan was to go to Boston and whoop it up for four whole days and take in the city and all of the historical sights. But, life happened, and therefore, the reality was that we spent two nights at the Opryland Hotel and ate at fun restaurants, did some shopping, watched a movie, watched the DVD of the National Championship, and slept late. Not to mention two solid days of adult conversation! Some meaningful, some playful...but all greatly needed and enjoyed. Just to shout him out...I love being married to him and pray that God gives us many, many, many, many more :) He sure knew what He was doing when he put together two wild and crazy kids who loved to have fun, loved music, and believed in hard work. He grew us together, brought us close to Him, and gave us Life. For what more could we ask??

My Oscar rundown is gonna be kinda short. The Oscars are WAAAY too pretentious for me. I just about can't stand seeing people drool all over themselves from a grandstand over these overpaid people who sit on the potty and poop the same way as everyone else in the universe does. It's really pretty sinful and shameful that just one of the dresses cost more than some families make in a year. Here's an overview. One liners for everyone.

Angelina Jolie - Pretty hair, but you need a feeding tube. And what's with the whack pose?

Michelle Williams - good color. Neat dress. Bet you're fun.

Emma Stone - You are one of the only people that could rock that big bow thing up by your neck and wear it well. Yay you! Another potential hang out friend.

Sascha Cohen - Not funny, just gross. Beard looks like pubes.

Octavia Spencer - you look so pretty! Heard you said W-- Eag-- from the red carpet. I hate Auburn, but even I must admit that's cool as heck! :)

Tina Fey - is that a bump it gone wrong? Kind resembles a mohawk. Disappointed.

Stacy Keibler - monochromatic. Contrary to the other bloggers, I think you look bad. Clooney will bust you soon....he doesn't really like girls. Just sayin'.

Giuliana Rancic - I'm gonna leave it at this. I think there are more things going on healthwise than we know. God Bless your heart.

Steven Spielberg - you look like a mad scientist....and I love it.

Ellie Kemper - clip. on. bangs. You're not fooling anyone.

Matthew Lillard - not sure why you were there, but I had a crush on you when Scream 1 came out. Ha.

Kelly Ripa - another why are you there? But, you did look good :)

Brad Pitt - are you morphing into Kid Rock? Ugh.

Natalie Portman - you do no wrong. you made polka dots look exquisite on the red carpet.

Nancy O'Dell - probably the prettiest news lady there :)

I gotta get done blogging now....I have tears in my eyes because I'm partially watching "Marmaduke" with my daughter and it tears me up every stinking time, even though I know the outcome! What can I say??? I'm tender!!!!
