What I'm Doing Today

I love snow. I know that a few weeks ago I said that I was tired of it snowing. I was just kidding. When I step out into the snow, it's like the snow provides a buffer against sound, and for a few wonderful seconds, it's like I'm in a soundproof world. Of course, then someone asks me a million questions in one minute, a dog starts whining or barking, and I am needed by everyone all at once...but for that small glimpse of time, all seems right with the world. Untouched snow is amazingly peaceful and gorgeous to me - it really reminds me of God's grace. Then we trample out up in it and muck it up really good. Hmm....sense that metaphor?? Anyhoo - today we played in the snow, we lounged around watching "Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2" more times than I care to admit (and it's only 11:15am), we are planning on doing valentine's crafts & cookies. What an awesomely fun day! There's no where else I'd rather be right at this moment!

Oh...and if W tells you about today, please excuse me and don't call DHR about the fact that she has eaten Trix yogurt, 2 things of applesauce, My Little Pony gummies, Disney Princess gummies, and Lorna Doone Shortbread cookies - again, all before lunch....and if she tells you about 'koalas', she really means 'chihuahua' - she can't quite say it correctly! These are the days that make memories! :)
