So, if you follow me on Facebook, you are probably not even going to read this. I update a status about my stinking XM radio every day practically. I just love it! If I love it that much, I guess that I have to blog about it too. I mean, let us count the ways....sort of. Do you have an XM radio? If not, do you have an iphone? You can download AOL Radio or Pandora Radio or I Heart Radio and have music that you love at your fingertips anytime :) Gosh, these people should pay me to advertise for them. Today, I have had the unfortunate job of cleaning out the closet because we are about to put our home back on the market, so we don't want it to look like a cluttered wreck. It was a daunting task, so I decided to hook me up some Pandora. I created my own station (that's how it works) - I think it was "Tag Team Radio" or something like that. The closet was cleaned in about 2 hours!!! I attribute it to my awesome music. I've heard some utterly hilarious music that has taken me waaaay back. Yeah, to the 90s and early 00's, where else do you wanna go?? As I'm typing, "Gin and Juice" is playing....oh, wait, it has changed to "It Takes Two". I've heard "Back that Thang Up", " E.I", "Summertime", "Poison", "Ice Ice Baby", "Gangsta's Paradise", "No Diggety". OMG!!! I have laughed so hard while cleaning the closet - yes, alone, laughing, don't judge.
Before the big closet clean out, I had to go to check up on Baby #2 and get some makeup at the mall. In the drive between, I hit up a drive through and got a sandwich. Mainly because I didn't want to get out of my car and be torn away from Lithium. Not the drug, but the XM station that owns me. It's straight up 90s alternative - Green Day, Oasis, Alice in Chains, The Verve, Alanis, Nirvana, Dave Matthews, Rage Against The Machine. Are you kidding me???!!!! It's freaking AWESOME :)
We've been through this before - I LOVE music! I'm happiest when singing me a song or two - or making up my own, if you know me well, you know this happens a lot in our family :) And, yes, I do listen to things much more mellow as well, I'm a big fan of Christian music, a little bluegrass, and even some country. I like singer/songwriters, too, and it's my total dream for some soul to teach me how to play acoustic guitar.... I have one....any teachers offering?? :) Basically, just like the rest of me, my musical tastes are a lotta differences all rolled into one to make something kinda neat!
Maybe this has quenched some of my rambling about XM radio! I know it's getting old - really, I do... I'm really, really, really gonna try to not talk about it for a while - well....after I get done listening to "California Love"!!!!!!
Yay for Satellite Radio!!!!!!!
